Downwind Waters

Conditions could not have been more perfect for the second day of racing at the 2014 Newport Regatta. The sun was shining, the weather was comfortably warm, the seabreeze was cool and constant, and everyone was out for a fun day of sailing. Hosted annually by Sail Newport, this is the premiere mid-season One Design racing event in the northeast. Competitors come from all over New England, the eastern seaboard, plus a few from across the country and even Europe to compete in one of the most fun events of the season.
